My Gloaming

sun struck
stuck on a sudden

lash

gashed

& hanging

dance       &     dandled

in last lights rapture

print on purple feigned finish

arch in ache shakes silhouettes

s t r e t c h i n g sheer

to sundown’s stately estate

blam blazoned across the scene

seen as flash flicker gasp

not once

but winking dripping tripping

in tiered torn tears

of golden tessellation
