Here Comes The Weekend Again
he’s been loving life ever since he can remember
but he doesn’t seem to have the time to love it now
every time he gets a chance to get away people tell him
“get back to work you should be above that now
didn’t two years in the army do anything for you?
grow up kid, get smart you’re twenty-two”
ah, but here comes the weekend again
you can sleep in hang up your suit coat
get out your boots and dust them off
it’s been a whole week
